Syncing iPad Engagements After an Event

How to check if the engagements on your iPad have been uploaded to the server after an event.

Any engagements that are not uploaded during an event will be automatically uploaded the next time the iPad is connected to the internet and the Livetech Events app is opened.

To ensure that all of the engagements on your iPad have synced, perform the following steps:

  1. Connect your iPad to the internet - this can be either a Wi-Fi network or a cellular network if you have a cellular equipped iPad. 
  2. Open the Livetech Events app. The icon looks like:

  • When you open the "Livetech Events" app:
    • If it opens to a data collection form instead of the event load page, then leave the all fields blank except the Zip Code field.
    • Enter three zeroes ( 000 ) into the Zip Code field, and tap Submit.
      This will take you back to the event load page. 

If you see a large yellow banner at the top - it means that your device has not uploaded all engagements. It will begin syncing them, and the process will happen very quickly. 


When an iPad has successfully uploaded all engagements to the server the banner will turn green.
